Samuel García
I am Samuel García, I have studied Law and Global Studies at Carlos III University. I spent a year studying in UC Berkeley and I interned at the California Research Bureau. I am currently pursuing my final year at University College London. I am particularly interested in the intersection between AI, Law and Social Anthropology.

Edouar Hümer
After completing my undergraduate degree at Sciences Po on the French-German Nancy Campus, I spent a year abroad at UC3M in Madrid. I am now pursuing a Master in Public Affairs in Paris, specialising in European energy and environmental affairs. My current work explores how AI can contribute to the energy transition and inform sustainable policymaking in Europe, as well as how a more efficient European energy grid can allow for more autonomous and resilient energy governance

Jakob Kranzhöfer
Since the winter semester 2022/23, I have been studying law at the University of Cologne. During the academic year 2024/25, I spent a year in Madrid as part of the Erasmus program. In 2024, I worked at the Institute for Media and Communications Law at the University of Cologne for six months. My main research interests focus on the impact of AI on children’s education as well as on the labor market.

Hi! My name is Hugo Vallecillo, and I studied Law and Political Science at Carlos III University. I am currently pursuing a master’s degree at LSE, and I have participated in exchange programs at UC Berkeley and UCL. My main research interests are political representation, immigration, and labor.

Jonas Finn Weidner
Hey I am Jonas ! I study law at the University of Cologne and spent a year at Carlos III University in 2024/25, during which the idea of SCEAI emerged. In addition to that I worked
2 years at an international law firm in the field of AI & Legal Tech and interned at the German Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space. I previously conducted research for a professor at UC3M and I am interested in AI in policy-making, risk studies and democratic processes.
